dinner with the gang

had dinner with the gang tonight at MOS...had tsukune rice burger. when i ordered, i nearly said "kitsune" rice burger haha...what is kitsune anyway?? (editor: kistune = fox) somehow that word just crossed my mind when i read tsukune. my japanese...lol

yiyi talked about taiwan, and weiwei updated us on her progress with siu-ming. so sweet lor they even have neo-print!!!!! my ex is just old. mentally i mean, though he is only 5 yrs older than me and is only 27 this yr. "youthful stuff" such as neoprint is too childish for him la. and he didn't even use msn. omg. is he living in 1990?! more elderly behaviour: he dun watch j-drama, he thinks my kinki kids is junk (he is just jealous of their cute faces =P), he likes talking abot politics (the real "hardcore"politics, not those funny political shows i watch)... he and his beethoven. but he can't really play the piano like a pro. he is like, level 4/5?!! and still thinks he is classy cos he listen to classics. 0rz. loser.

digress too much alr. (can't stop rumbling on him cos he really pissed me off....>:( haiz....move on man.)

ya, then she gave us each six packets of mochi and 2 mango pudding/konyaku (with spoons). all from taiwan. and two books i request. too bad they dun ve xiongbao's picture book. my friend was thinking what a weird name for xiongbao's book. the title sounds a bit vulgar but not really vulgar. "ta nai nai de xiong" = lit. "his grandmother's bear" weird name haha. it is meant to sound as if it is vulgar lol.

the "god's blacklist"(lit) is banned in sg, but she smuggled in anw =P it is not imported due to the gory pics in it i think. too gory. but the essence is the content...insightful book on the mind of the serial killers. the second book is "17 in iwo jima"(lit), a veteran talks about the days in iwo jima during the battle. quite interested in this history after i saw the movie "Letters from Iwo Jima".

yi knows that i like stitch, and she bought this cute strap and one packet of veggie biscuits from watsons. so cute! love her!!! gonna bring back cute poohs from japan for her. =)

then we proceed to cha-can-ting (= hk cafe) for desserts. i was a bit full from the dinner at MOS (i finished the whole set, + the fries!!!) but since it was too early to go home (9+pm only), we went on for desserts. there is always room for that haha. i shared mango + kiwi + 1/2 strawberry plate with weiwei. i couldn't believe i could still swallow that plate of so-sweet-that-i-can-get-diabetes dessert when my stomach was like 95% full alr. when i burped i could feel some mango pulp rushing to my throat. eww.

and we left the place at arnd 1020pm. time to go home. satisfied with the dinner outing. hope to catch up with them soon! =)
