Transition of Kitty

I was rummaging the pictures folder when I stumbled upon some old photos, taken 2-3 years ago. Some of them were bleary, part of it due to the quality of my photo-cam (4 megapixels). Looking at them brings back memories, some joyful (kitty and his belly) and some bitter-sweet (my long-gone V-shaped face during my uni days).

I was pleasantly surprised at how I, a 24-year-old who has survived one year of being a secondary school teacher in a neighbourhood school, still look as young as I was in my uni days (except for a bit of weight-gaining). Another creature that has not changed much in these 2-3 years is kitty, who just celebrated his 5th birthday on 12 Sep 2010 *showering him with kisses*.

As you can see, Kitty's changes are subtle..it looks pretty much the same as it was 3 years ago! Sometimes I wonder if it ages backwards, like Benjamin Button.

I can't really remember how he looked like when he was a kitten. Well, he came to us when he was 3 months old, and by that time he was pretty much a handsome young boy, not a baby anymore. The one thing that kitty has retained is his child-like face, adorable beyond words. He sometimes just looks like a baby to me, with his dreamy eyes and dark, round dilated pupils. His mouth sometimes resembles a pout, if a cat is ever capable of a pout. It is THAT LOOK which makes my heart melt.

Kitty, stay as cute as always! :)
